Joanne married Bob Schleck in 1995. Bob is a Custodial Engineer at the Rochester Community Technical College. Joanne has one son (Michael), six step-children, three grandchildren, thirteen step-grandchildren, and one great step-grandson.

Joanne was born in Dover, MN to Freddie & Adeline Walters. She graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1963. She was employed at the Mayo Clinic until 1970 and then became a stay-at-home Mom, farmer, and auctioneer. From 1989 - 1999 she was employed by Plainview Milk Products as a Secretary and Special Events Coordinator.

Joanne Schleck began working as a part-time Secretary in July of 1994. In 1999 the church hired her as a full time Administrative Assistant. In addition to her office administration responsibilities, her duties include Church Secretary/Treasurer, Sunday School Superintendent, and Secretary to the Church Board.

Chuck married his wife, Helen, in 1975 in Polo, IL. Helen is a Registered Nurse at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. They have three grown children (Laura, Steven, and Sarah). All three of their children are married. They also have five grandchildren.

Chuck graduated from Minnesota Bible College in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts. In 1986 Chuck received his Master of Ministry degree from Kentucky Christian College. He has also received education from Sauk Valley Community College (Sterling, IL) and Bethel College (St. Paul, MN).

Pastor Chuck Coggins came to our Church in 1976 to serve as our Youth Pastor. In 1980 the Church hired him as Senior Pastor. Chuck is the son of a Pastor so his entire life has been involved with Pastoral ministry in some way or other. His father retired from the preaching ministry at the age of 83 after pastoring Churches in Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, and North Dakota.

               In the summer of 2005, at a table in McDonalds, this chapter of adventure with Christ began! Pastor Chuck asked if I would "come help out for a Sunday" and lead worship! One thing led to another and today I have the joy of not only leading worship (alongside a wonderful worship team), but of ministering Christ to the youth of our church and community! Who says a stop at McDonalds can't be life changing!
               I trust God alone, through Jesus Christ to be the greatest single force in all of life! One of today's great worship songs reminds us that: "He is our portion and we are His prize!" It occurs to me that those words sum up the entire story of the Bible...God pursuing his broken and fallen people with a relentless passion! How incredibly great is the Father's love for us for that to be true! It is my passion to help God's kids (even us older ones!) come into a love relationship with Jesus Christ that will forever change our lives and the lives of this broken country and world!
               I am married to my wife Amy. We have 3 married daughters, consequently 3 sons, and 5 grandchildren, all who live in the area and are active here at Plainview Church. I love being with my family, hanging out with kids, and playing music! If you call it a job, I have the best job in all the world!
