We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Formal attire is also welcome. We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

What should I wear?
When are the services?

We are a growing church with families of all sizes, people of all ages and individuals from all walks of life. We try to include all people as we encourage love, fellowship and spiritual growth. Come let us share with you as we grow together in Christ.

Services are on Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M.. Worship services are located in the Worship Center. At Plainview Church of Christ you will find an intimate and informal worship experience through the Word of God and a mix of music, drama and media.

What about my kids during worship?

Our nursery is the alternative place for your infant child through 3yr old. Please ask one of the greeters to show you where the nursery is or you can just follow the signs. Your child's safety and security is important to our nursery staff.

Am I expected to put money in the offering tray?

No. we do not have any expectations. Giving is an act of worship between a believer and God. We just want you to come and experience worship.

Our teaching Pastors base their sermons on God’s Word in all its truth without watering anything down. It is their desire that the message be engaging, interesting and significant to your life. Hopefully, you will laugh at times, but you will also be challenged by what is said.
What's the preaching like?
We celebrate the Lord's Supper every week. We believe that communion belongs to the Lord and not to this Church. All who have dedicated their lives to Jesus remember Christ’s sacrifice by taking communion. The bread represents Jesus’ body; the fruit of the vine represents his blood which was shed to forgive our sins.  If you have dedicated your life to Jesus feel free to take communion and remember what Jesus did for you.
What about Communion?

What happens when worship is over? Where can I get a cup of Coffee?

Fellowship! When worship is over we just love to fellowship and get to know each other better. Please join us in the fellowship hall and enjoy some free coffee and treats. We would love to use the time to get to know you better and answer any questions you may have about what you just experienced or what we believe. If you choose, we offer Sunday School to ALL ages following fellowship time. Just ask, we will guide you to a class that is informative, exciting and based on the Word of God.

Again, thank you for worshipping with us. We hope that you had a wonderful worship experience. We look forward to seeing you again. If there are any questions not answered here or through out our web site, please don't hesitate to ask, phone (507-534-2704)  or email us.
